British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)

Through BC PNP, which stands for British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program the prospective immigrants who have skills and experience are targeted by the province. Skills Immigration:

BC PNP Skills have been categorized into the following:

  • Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category: If the application has a career as a worker in a certain entry-level or he is semi-skilled in the tourism industry or in the hospitality, long-haul trucking, food processing or those in entry-level or semi-skilled positions living and working in the Northeast Development Region of British Columbia, may be eligible for immigration through this program.
  • Health Care Professional Category: This category is for the applicants who have experience and are eligible for job offers as a physician, nurse, psychiatric nurses or allied health professionals can apply. The job offer has to be from an eligible medical institution. Not all medical institution has been listed in the qualifying list, whereas only 11 specific institutes have the authority to qualify for Health Care Professional Category:
  • International Graduate Category: This category is for the applicants who have graduated from an eligible Canadian University or from an eligible Canadian College in the last three years. There has to be a job offer, obtained from a BC employer who is eligible for this sub-category.
  • Skilled Worker Category: Now for the individuals who have received an eligible job offer in a skilled occupation can apply for this category. The workers will be expected to have several years of experience in their skilled occupation to get the preference.
  • International Post-Graduate Category: For all the Graduates with Masters or Doctoral degrees from an eligible educational institution in British Colombia in the applied or health since programmes along the natural science programs of study are regarded. No job is required to apply under this sub-category.


Express Entry British Columbia

With the Federal Government’s Express Entry Immigration Selection System, it allows all the eligible applicants to receive a priority processing for both of their BC PNP applications and if nominated, also their permanent residence application.
