Express Entry For FSTP

The Express Entry is a fast-track system that processes applications for permanent residency in just the span of 6 months. But before we talk about that, let’s talk about the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) Score.

In order to get an invitation, you need to have a decent CRS score so your name could be drawn during an Express Entry poll, which happens twice every month. During the draw, the highest scoring candidates are issued with an Invitation to Apply for permanent residency.

How are you rated?

Your CRS Score Depends On Your:

  • Age
  • Level of Education
  • Work Experience in Canada
  • Work Experience outside Canada
  • Ability to adapt in Canada
  • Capability of speaking English
  • Capability of speaking French
  • Relationships in Canada
  • Your level of language proficiency
  • Employment

Important note: Your language tests are valid for 2 years after the date of the test result. Also, when you are applying or permanent residency, the tests should be still valid.
